Right? 04:04
I took it back I never went home I took it back and rebuilt it on my own I want to see the ocean tumbling on Pray to the moon to tuck me into sleep right? I took it back I never really loved you I stopped looking back, oh but how I can lie too Ink always bleeds when you write out the storm But clearer skies have bled me dry tonight right? Would you have the guts to say what I did was right? The choices I'm making underneath black lights The people that I've hurt will find out tonight So did I ever say anything right? I've been moving from place to place Seen the West Coast, places they call home Spent near twenty-one years on this earth Without any goals of my own Never seemed so alone in places I know Atoned for sins I condone I never thought love was swing and miss Needed the rain so I walked out Tore down the sun with a child's pout Will we take the chance to say what's on our minds? Will we have the choice to live like we really tried? Will we have the guts to say what we did was - Will I have the guts to say what I did was right? My blessings, I've counted, so many, many times The people that I've loved will know this tonight Because I know I did some things right.

about

This is the last song we'll put out for a long time. It's about leaving a place you've hated and wondering if you got anything from that part of your life, or if where you're going back to will make any of it better.

The answer? It really doesn't matter where you are if you accept who you are. But sometimes getting out (and damn, I wanted out) hands you the chance to choose.
